
Patch 4.1 is almost upon us! Word on the street is it will be out on Tuesday. Hee haw! You can read the complete patch notes here, but I’ll give you a break down on all the important stuff (I’ll do my best to give the gist of the class stuff, but I’m not expert on most classes so somebody correct me if I interpret it wrong).
- Zul’Gurub and Zul’Aman redone for 85′s dropping 353 epics.
- Tanks (and perhaps healers) will receive extra benefits for queuing in LFD in hopes to decrease DPS queue times.
- A new guild finder for both people looking for guilds and guilds looking for people. About time, EQ2 had this years ago.
- Guild Challenges for additional guild rewards.
- Conquest points can be purcahsed with Valor points. Honor and justice points can be bought for each other.
- Resilience will scale more like armor.
- Rate of honor points gained doubled.
- DKs get a battle rez. Blood PvP nerfed slightly. Frost and unholy buffed.
- I don’t know much about druids, looks like feral buffs, balance nerfs, mixed bag for resto.
- Hunters…nobody cares about hunters…annoying pet loyalty crap removed and some bug fixes. Not much.
- Mages…damage buffs for arcane. Frost gets major survivability buffs, a bit of a damage buff, and now cone of cold root and shattered barrier share DR.
- Ret paladins nerfed in PvP. Not much else for Pallies.
- Priests…PW:S duration nerfed to 15 seconds. Shadow loses defensive dispel on others.
- Rogues move faster in stealth, improved recuperate less required for PvP.
- Like Druids, Shamans aren’t my forte. Looks like Resto PvP nerfs.
- Warlock…dark intent nerfed (on others), minor damage buffs.
- Warriors…Colossus Smash nerfed in PvP, new ability (Rallying Cry), Spell Reflect nerfed to 25s reuse, other minor buffs/nerfs.
There’s certainly a lot more other stuff, but that’s what really stood out to me. I’d recommend you go look over the official notes for your class if you’re into that!
